Pakistan Army’s lethal and advanced capability to penetrate deep into the heart of the enemy is an established fact.
Proud is the nation of
No doubt our nuclear capability is an important deterrence for protection of our geographical borders particularly on the eastern side. The ever opportunist and backstabbing enemy like India that is always there ready to inflict huge blow to make us weaker and the weakest since we achieved Independence.
When head count is considered,
However when it comes to Missile
Recent failures in the testing of the nuclear capable missiles have been a very big blow for the Indians. The failures are not confined to the missiles only, the story of bribes, kickbacks compounded by wrong decisions has thrown
The dream of indigenously producing sophisticated weapons met huge set backs and with the changing scenarios of the region,
Dhruv “Multirole Helicopter”.
Total program costs over US$250 Million.
Unit Cost of Each Helicopter US$ 8 Million
The recent crash of Indian Pride Dhruv in an official parade in
The question arises that if this Chopper is such a waste, how
Teja Light Combat Aircrafts
Total program costs over US$ 1.5 Billion.
Unit Cost of Aircraft US$ 21.0 Million.
Another sorry story of compound failure in creation of a reliable aircraft is Teja. This can be seen as the worst example of the draining the money on an ambitious but ill planned project. The recent news, curiously enough reported by Calcutta Telegraph, that the Kaveri engine being built to power the Teja LCA had failed in high altitude simulation test on the ground was a disappointment
Indian Air Force’s Teja is declared as Light Combat Aircraft but its performance and maneuverability cannot be declared as ideal for a stiff encounter. It is quite true to say that Indian scientists and politicians have fooled their nation by spending over a billion dollars for a program which yielded a sub standard aircraft for their Air force. Unfortunately this aircraft is now confined to training missions only and is not considered for any future combat operations. Full squadron of Aircraft was planned to be inducted in IAF in the mid of 2010 but it does not look to be possible in the present state of affairs. On the speculation and over hyped advertisement of this Aircraft, Indian Air Force and Navy have ordered a considerable number of these aircrafts but every day passes creates suspicion and doubts about the actual capabilities and reliability of Tejas.
In short, Teja LCA cannot be seen as a dependable aircraft in any sort of serious combat in future. The problem of weaker engine and failure in high altitude makes it an easy target for other fighter aircrafts of its category.
Sukhoi SU-30
Russian Sukhoi Fighter Aircrafts can be termed as the best war machine
The crash of SU-30 gave clear proof to the world that Indian Fighter pilots have lack of responsibility and expertise to handle the aircraft of modern age.
The shocking news appeared in Times of India revealed more than year before about the sorry state of affairs of Indian Air Force’s training facilities.
Rajat Pandit, TNN,
It, in fact, is a marvel that IAF pilots can hold their own against American, French and British pilots, as recent air combat exercises have shown, given all this.
Even as training of the first batch of rookie fighter pilots on the newly-inducted Hawk AJTs (advanced jet trainers) is currently underway at the Bidar airbase, the Comptroller and Auditor General has blasted the entire training process in the force.
Holding that pilot training was being conducted under "numerous constraints", CAG blamed the government for huge "unnecessary delays" in procuring important training aids as well as IAF for not formulating any long-term training plan for fighter, helicopter and transport aircraft pilots.
Even the AJTs — 25 of the 66 Hawks have been inducted at Bidar till now under the Rs 8,000 crore project finalized in March 2004 — have come 25 years after IAF first asked the government for them to help train its rookie pilots on the intricacies of combat fighter jet flying and reduce crashes.
The AJTs, of course, will now help young pilots to bridge the quantum jump from flying sub-sonic aircraft like HPT-32 and Kiran trainers in Stage-I and Stage-II training to directly handling the supersonic ‘highly-unforgiving’ MiG-21s, the norm in IAF till now.
It’s no wonder that there have been well over 700 crashes recorded by IAF since 1970, killing around 180 pilots and scores of civilians on the ground, with almost half of them being blamed on "human error".
This staggering accident rate in IAF has, fortunately, seen a turnaround in the last three to four years. But the rate is still unacceptable, considering that over 65 aircraft have crashed since 2003-2004, with 30 pilots losing their lives.
The CAG report held that "key acquisitions and upgradation of training infrastructure" were lagging much behind schedule due to "poor planning and lack of timely decision-making".
"Training is being imparted with outdated and ageing aircraft. Absence of vital training aids like simulators, human centrifuge etc also have an adverse impact on the quality and cost-effectiveness of the training," it said.
The IAF, on its part, should formulate a long-term effective training plan consistent with its long-term strategic objectives, desired force-levels and technological changes.
"The interim training plans for short periods of two years have led to short-sighted decisions impacting quality of pilot training," said CAG.
The report was equally stinging on the trainer aircraft being used at present. The single-piston engine HPT-32s, for instance, are "technologically outdated and beset by flight safety hazards".
"In spite of the loss of 11 pilots and 15 aircraft, they continue to be used. Further, HPT-32 does not aid in smooth transition of trainees to the next stage of training," it said.
The "limited availability" of the ageing Kiran aircraft for Stage-II training also came in for criticism, with CAG holding that its replacement by the still under-development indigenous IJT (intermediate jet trainer) was quite remote "in the near future".
"Large number of accidents due to human error is an indicator of the fact that the training facilities in IAF need to be upgraded and training of pilots made more comprehensive, systematic and rigorous," said CAG.
“Arjun” The Main
Total program costs over US$1,050 Million.
Unit Cost of Tank US$ 4.0 Million
Quite rightly called the Armored Garbage Trunk oops!! Tank.
When it was speculated that Arjun Tank can turn into a breakthrough in Indian dreams of indigenously built tanks, their own Times of India said this about this junk machine.
Rajat Pandit, TNN,
"With its excessive weight and width, the Arjun tank has poor operational mobility. It will not be possible to rapidly move it from one area of operation to another on the existing tank transporters on our rail network," said a senior officer.
At 58.5 tonnes, the Arjun is much heavier than the newly-inducted T-90S Russian MBT, which weighs 46.5 tons, and is consequently less maneuverable.
"It may prove too heavy for some of our bridges. It's also yet to be fully proven that the recurring problems with its engine and fire control systems have been solved," said an officer.
The failure has led the capping of the whole project of Arjun Tanks and moving towards finalizing the deals from
In 2008, the Indian Army announced plans to acquire an entirely new main battle tank unrelated to the Arjun, to be inducted after 2020. The Indian Army has held an "international seminar on future MBTs", during which the parameters and requirements of this future MBT were identified. As a result,
According to Jane's, the Indian Army has confirmed that the Arjun's production will be capped at 124 units. Lt General Dalip Bharadwaj, the Director General for the Mechanized Infantry, said that "Army will place no more orders for Arjun beyond 124 that was already contracted", because the "Army is now looking 20 years ahead and wants a futuristic MBT.
The present decision of Indian Army is a serious blow to the Indian dreams of building MBTs in
Indian Missiles
Story of immense failures
Like Dhruv Helicopter, Teja fighters jets and Arjun Tanks , the story of disappointing failures does not end here.
AGNI ii
The 2,000 km range
Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) sources told The Hindu that some malfunction occurred after 60 seconds when the missile reached up to an altitude of 20 kms following which it nosedived. The fact that the first stage, a replica of the SLV-3 (first stage), functioned well showed it was robust. “Something went wrong after the first stage”, the sources added.
A few seconds of malfunctioning, probably in the control system, had affected the normal thrust and resulted in the missile losing its speed. The snag resulted in the high dynamic vehicle becoming uncontrollable subsequently. The problem might have occurred either during separation or ignition of the second stage.
DRDO constituted a special team to analyze the cause of failure. It might take at least 10 days to pinpoint the actual cause and come to a definite conclusion.
This is setback to DRDO as two flights of Agni-II failed in a row. The missile launched in May this year ended up without reaching the full distance after facing a similar problem during the second stage.
The two-stage solid fuelled Agni-II is 21-metres tall and has a thrust phase of 110 seconds. It is capable of carrying a payload of one tonne to a distance of 2,000 km. The weapon system had already been deployed and Monday’s one was picked randomly from a clutch of missiles.

KOCHI: DRDO scientists have launched an investigation into the failure of the BrahMos army version missile, especially why its GPS system couldn’t link onboard computers with hovering satellites eventually crippling its guidance system and keeping it from achieving mission objectives.
The ambit of the probe will also examine why US satellites blinked during the test window, thereby denying the missile the crucial inputs needed for its guidance.
A primary analysis of the January 20 test has shown that the missile, a special version capable of hitting hidden targets like terrorist camps, performed the flight plan but missed the target. The missile was supposed to hit a rather insignificant target hidden among obstructions at the Pokharan range.
“It had an advance seeker which was to home in on the target using GPS data obtained through US satellites.
But it is a mystery why the SCAN technology failed to access the satellites,” said BrahMos sources.
The seeker, an advanced one developed to guide the missile to very insignificant targets, was a success during test flights. The seeker and the new software were tested extensively using fighter aircraft flying at top speeds.
“Once we were confident of their success, we decided to go in for the first test on the missile. But the failure is a mystery,” top sources told to The New Indian Express, The BrahMos special version, in spite of being an Indo-Russian venture, was fully dependent on US satellites. The Russian global positioning network is not usually used by Indian defense agencies for their strategic programs. “This leads to speculation about why the entire galaxy of US satellites failed to provide signals to the missile. We need to solve the mystery of how the satellites suddenly failed over the Pokharan skies,” sources said.
The probe report is expected by Wednesday and will be submitted to the Defense Minister. Though the failure rattled the Army a bit, sources said its top brass was still for BrahMos missiles. “We will wait for the result of the February 20 tests.
The missile is still the best to hit a defined and designated target like an enemy depot or an airport. The wait-and-watch is only regarding the advanced version of BrahMos,” sources told to The New Indian Express.
Night Blind Army
The most shocking of all the revelations by the Indian Army Chief stunned everybody through out the world by the declaration that Indian Army cannot face the night combat.. A report appeared in Khaleej Times on
NEW DELHI — As the Indian Army geared up for the 62nd Army Day on Friday, its chief General Deepak Kapoor expressed concern about the force’s ‘night blindness’ in the area of armoured corps and mechanised infantry.
“My major concern is that night blindness of the army is removed so we are able to fight in the night as in the day,” Kapoor said.
Earlier when his attention was brought to the fact that the Indian Army’s tanks have a night vision capability of 20 per cent, Pakistan’s have 80 per cent while China has 100 per cent, Kapoor only replied: “You are right.”“Projects are already in the pipeline to ensure that we have the night vision capability that our adversaries have. It may take three-four years,” Kapoor added. The lack of night vision capability of the Indian Army has affected its fighting capability during the night. The deficiency has been persistent since the Kargil conflict.
On a query about the obsolete artillery of the Indian Army, the army chief said that successive bans have delayed acquisition of new guns for long.“Artillery is a cause for concern. We need to have better guns. Trials for towed guns are underway. Because of bans the process got delayed. We are now acquiring (ultra light) guns through FMS (Foreign Military Sales) route (from the
“I would be happy to get the guns whichever way I can. I do not mind if it comes through Foreign Military Sales. The Defence Acquisition Committee cleared it and we are ready to go for it,” he added.
The aftermath of this statement comes as this embarrassing news that Gen.Deepak Kapoor is now facing the curse of forced retirement on medical ground.

When we sum up the report stated above about the current state of affairs in the Indian Army, it is quite logical to say that
The fact is that

Source:
Giridh, Jharkhand The Naxals, who surprised everyone by using rocket launchers for the first time during the Lok Sabha polls, have already set up about four units to manufacture weapons and ammunition, say central security agencies. The Naxals, who usually target security forces with manual improvised explosive devices, are now slowly developing remote-controlled IEDs which can be activated from a distance with just the push of a button.
The improvement in fire-power is being supported by intensive training on the lines of regular forces, say sources. Central security agencies and local police sources say the Maoists have started two factories each in the dense forests and hills of both Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh. Sources say that though another such factory existed earlier in
Early last year, a combing team of the CRPF and the local police had come across one such unit used for making small bombs and mortar shells in Jharkhand. The Naxals who are trying to improve their firepower have also come out with the deadly 'Claymore Mines', or what are often called 'directional IEDs'.
Unlike in the past, when IEDs use to be buried beneath the road in a small can, the Claymore Mines, which come with a thick aluminium plate, can be fitted to a tree.
The IED, when exploded, will deflect the shrapnels in a direction opposite to the plate, thus focusing them to a particular area as against conventional IEDs where the impact is in a circular area around the device. Certain blasts in Chhattisgarh have pointed to the possibility of remote-controlled IEDs being used but they are yet to become a standard strategy for the Naxals, say sources. "Naxals are constantly trying to improvise and have also set up factories for this. During searches by security personnel, they have come across few chips which suggest that they are trying to develop remote-controlled IEDs. If they succeed, it would prove deadly," according to a source. "The Naxalites also make their own guns besides those snatched from policemen and procured from outside. Their locally-made guns called 'pahar' can be used to severely injure a person if not kill him. The pellets break into pieces on impact and hence are deadly," the source says.
The left-wing extremists are known for using gelatin sticks in their explosives. They are sourced from mining areas, say sources. A source says that the Maoists also undergo military training similar to that of securitymen, which "suggests a possibility of ex-army or ex-policemen" helping in preparing training modules, whether due to force or their own wish.
One of the Naxal training CDs seized by security forces in Andhra Pradesh gives an insight into the training modules with the militants practising crawling backwards. Security forces have also come across abandoned centres of Naxals having rope climbing, ladder, crawling tunnels and other obstacles used for hard training. The Naxals have also hit upon an innovative way to store their ammunition by hiding it in branded plastic water tanks placed in the ground and covered with mud and stones. Sources said the logic behind it was that there are less chances of formation of moisture, which might damage the ammunition.
The above report suggests that Indian security forces would not find it easy to stop NMs in near future because they have developed themselves into a parallel lethal army.

Deals for 16 reactors in a single day – so read
This latest advance of
The surge in the deals has followed in quick succession to similar media-celebrated agreements with five other countries –
The complex has been in operation since March 2000, under the Nuclear Power Corporation of
The radioactive contamination of drinking water in the complex, which led to hospitalization of scores of employees (figures varying from the officially cited 55 to 92 according to some sources), shook
The theories about the incident emanating from the authorities and others do not diminish the danger at all. According to the authorities, some “mischief-maker” or “mischief-makers” among the employee of the complex – rank “insiders,” in other words – seem to have added tritium-contaminated heavy water to a drinking water cooler. The serious crime, it is said, could be either a particularly nasty prank or a case of sabotage.
Tritium, a radioactive isotope of hydrogen also known as hydrogen-3, can be used as a booster in the making of fission bombs as well as thermonuclear weapons or hydrogen bombs. Tritium emits beta rays which, if ingested, can cause death, cancer and mutations.
By one unofficial version, the incident resulted from inter-union rivalry. By another, it was a case of disgruntled employees trying to discredit the management. Some political mischief-makers outside the complex indulged in loud speculation about the hand of “illegal” Bangladeshi immigrant laborers behind the incident, hoping to start another anti-Muslim hate campaign. Mercifully, however, investigations have reportedly ruled out that possibility.
Many questions, meanwhile, have been raised without getting any serious official response. Why did it take so long for the incident to be reported in any detail? It took place the night of November 23-24. A single-line story first appeared in the scroll of a television channel on November 25, but the full official acknowledgment of the incident had to wait for several days. It took even longer for authorities to go to the police. Was this not a hush-up attempt, bound to fail as the families of the victims could not be silenced?
Whether an accident or sabotage, how did the allegedly ironclad regime of procedures in the reactors allow it? As anti-nuclear activist Surendra Gadekar asks, how could anyone steal a vial of tritium, made at a cost of up to $100,000 a gram, with such ease?
Questions have been asked – and remain unanswered – about other, past “incidents” at Kaiga as well. Some Truthout readers may remember the report on “Death of an Indian Nuclear Scientist” (
Mahalingam was training young scientists and working in the simulator training division of the plant. A simulator is a precise replica of the control room of a nuclear power plant The scientist had created a similar mystery ten years before, while working in the Kalpakkam nuclear complex in the neighboring State of
Among the questions raised in June were: Why was his body, found in the nearby Kali River, cremated before the results of the DNA test done at the insistence of his family were released? How did the authorities instantly rule out murder when he did not leave a suicide note?
The Mahalingam mystery was recalled after the latest Kaiga incident, but not any of the questions. No one seemed interested in reopening the case. The authorities have not succeeded so easily in an earlier case of mysterious death. Ravikumar Mule, a non-scientist employee at Kaiga, was found “dead” in an apartment in the township on
This is not the first incident at Kaiga. Even during construction in 1994, one layer of the first unit’s containment dome collapsed, delaying by four years a start to its operations. Nor is Kaiga an exception in
A similar incident took place in the heavy water plant of Rawatbhata in the State of
The question of questions about all these “incidents” is: why has no independent, external inquiry ever been conducted into any of them? The unstated answer is: such an inquiry cannot even be contemplated, since every nuclear installation is part of
This perverse notion of “security” makes every one of
The repeated security lapses and alarmingly low level of response to these kind of incidences raise multiple questions about the vulnerability of Indian Nuclear Assets.
The most shocking is the painful incident at Bhabha Atomic Research Center (BARC) the mysterious fire cooked two young scientists and left their families with a painful question mark!!
The detailed report is posted here for the readers
http://www.topnews.in/family-cries-foul-barc-scientists-body-are-handed-over-2248639
Mumbai, Dec 30 : As investigators struggled to find the cause of a fire in the country's premier Bhabha AtomicResearch Centre(BARC) that killed two scientists, the family members of one of the victims Wednesday have demanded a "thorough probe" into the accident.
"We are shocked at the attitude of the BARC officials though an incident of such a magnitude has taken place. We want a complete inquiry by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) into it," Munna Singh, uncle of Umesh Narayan Singh who died in the blaze, told IANS.
A loud explosion followed the fire that had broken out in a room on the third floor of the modularlaboratory Tuesday
As per preliminary investigations, the fire is suspected to have erupted following a chemical reaction that led to a blast in the laboratory housing analytical instruments.
Grieving over the loss of his nephew as the victim's body was brought home here late Wednesday, Singh said that usually there would be five or six fellow research students and a senior person present on the premises.
"Why were these two boys alone in the laboratory at the time of the incident? We want answers to these questions as it has national security implications," he demanded.
His friends have alleged that police and the BARC officials made them run from pillar to post before they finally got Umesh's body - charred beyond recognition - from the
Though police have tentatively ruled out foul play or negligence on the part of BARC, they have sent samples of the victims to the Forensic Sciences Laboratory at Kalina and also taken the DNA samples.
The cause of the fire remains unknown so far even as police and BARC officials spent the entire day in investigations at the complex in Chembur, northeast Mumbai.
Hailing from a humble, lower middleclass family of a former mill worker, Umesh was working in BARC for nearly five years. He was just six months away from completing his doctorate.
"The BARC did not have the courtesy to inform us officially, we learnt only from the media that Umesh is no more," Umesh's brother-in-law Uday Pratap Singh told reporters.
The grieving family members of the other victim, Parth P. Beg, 26, also arrived from Kolkata to collect his remains. His family members refused to speak to the media but said that he was doing his research at the BARC for the past 18 months.
Meanwhile, police in Trombay has registered a case of accidental fire and investigations into the cause of the fire are in full swing.
All top BARC officials remained incommunicado throughout the day as the fallout of the incident was being probed - both by the BARC and the police.
However, Chairman of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) Srikumar Banerjee was present in the BARC Wedensday, an official said.
However, there was no danger to the main reactor in the BARC or any other sensitive facilities that could lead to radiation or radioactivity, the spokesman said.(IANS)
It is most disgusting to note that main stream Newspapers and Channels of India take this matter on low profile due to constant pressure of the Government. The present situation is also a visible sign that it can be linked to the fact that
Indians are quite unaware that accelerating incidents of Uranium thefts, radioactive contamination and kidnapping of scientists could be engineered by CIA to convince Indian Government to seek USA’s help to secure its nuclear assets thus providing clear route to US agencies to obtain complete information and facts about the Indian Nuclear capabilities plus complete intervention in the activities in these installations.
Another possibility also emerges as the anti Indian forces are penetrating inside its nuclear assets and have arrived to the understanding that poor security arrangements may give potential opportunity to them to pull out the blue prints, the material and the technology of creating Nuclear Arsenal to be used for any sort of terrorist activity.
In short,
It is also the responsibility of the world community to pressurize
I would ask the Global Community to act together and raise their voice on this issue because it is the matter of great importance and any weakness in plucking the possibility of radioactive contamination would lead to never ending disaster in this region.
The failed nuclear tests at Pokhran between 10th and 13th of May 1998 proved to be extreme blunder of the Indian History now. The impact and the set backs of these failed tests caused extreme frustration and unwilling changes in many plans which India was banking on since long.
The main motive of 1998 nuclear tests by India was to completely push Pakistan to back foot. India was all set to give a clear message to the world that it has achieved complete supremacy in the South Asian region due to its Military might and with a stockpile of effective Nuclear Weapons. A huge country with enormous economic growth and unmatchable power of Conventional and Nuclear weapons could have brought great influence to India in this region and probably a confirmed permanent seat in the UN Security Council. There were also false claims made by RAW and Military High ups of India which led the then Prime Minister Mr. Atal Bihari Vajpayee to had been completely convinced that Pakistan was unable to initiate its own nuclear test in fear of International reaction. But, the most hyped tests were not only proved to be failed but subsequent tests by Pakistan on 28th May 1998 completely shut the beak of the Indian ostrich.
India still curses the loss of huge edge it got before Pokhran tests in 1998 which not only changed the power scene of this region but also threw India into many doubts about its own nuclear capabilities. Intelligence inputs suggest that India is facing another blow due to its failed Missile program which is also creating big head ache for the Military high ups. India is now on an emergency plan with the help of Israel to restructure its Missile program which was previously based on Russian technology. The Missile program now needs a serious upgrading and revamping because of growing challenges in the region. It is also widely believed that among many factors which are believed to be like American pressure and the fear of lack of International support, the possible attack on Pakistan after 26/11 Mumbai terrorism were backed off only due to sorry report of Indian Nuclear capabilities and spineless Missile system. It is also believed that it was after 26/11 when the reports of failed tests of Pokhran came into reality otherwise it was an internal secret before.
Following is the complete report appeared on famous Indian News website of Times of India which clearly shows the frustration and complete helplessness of the Indians on the grave matter of dud nuclear tests.
Times of India - Srinivas Laxman, TNN 18 September 2009, 01:44am IST
MUMBAI: Eleven years after India tested nuclear bombs in the deserts of Pokhran, embarrassing details about the test fizzling out have exploded into a full blown controversy with top nuclear scientists on Thursday demanding that the government institute an inquiry to determine whether the test failed. Former nuclear czars said they were ashamed that information had been hidden.
Three former nuclear leaders -- M R Srinivasan, P K Iyengar and A N Prasad said in the wake of revelations by K Santhanam, project leader for Pokhran II, the government must order a peer review into the yield of the thermonuclear test of May 1998.
Santhanam went public first on August 26, saying that the yield from the test was far lower than what prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's government claimed. On Thursday, in a newspaper article he disclosed embarrassing details saying the test was a failure because the yield was only 25 kilotons, nearly half of what the scientists had then claimed. He said that a meeting of scientists discussed the failure soon after the test and decided to hide it. He also pointed out that the failure meant that India now did not possess a credible nuclear deterrent, indicating that warheads on India's long-range missile could have far less punch than expected.
R Chidambaram, former chairman of Atomic Energy Commission and the architect of the nuke tests; Anil Kakodkar, then director of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, and APJ Abdul Kalam who led the team from Defence Research and Development Organisation, have insisted the device operated according to its design specifications and the yield was 45 kilotons.
At a meeting on September 5, the AEC dismissed the first statements made by Santhanam, saying through different types of analysis it was established that the yield of the thermonuclear test was 45 KT. Now, even scientists in Barc, the nation's top nuclear weapon establishment, doubt the claim.
While saying he was surprised by Santhanam's article, M R Srinivasan, former AEC chairman, told TOI it was time for both Chidambaram and Kakodkar to clarify the situation. ``In such circumstances I think a peer review is certainly warranted,'' he said. At the same time he said he still stood by the official position and would support Chidambaram and Kakodkar regarding the yield of the thermonuclear test. ``A lot of information has been published and is on record. So I have really no reason to disbelieve at this stage either Chidambaram or Kakodkar on this issue. However, because of the current controversy, I think the best recourse would be for both of them to clarify the position through a peer review,'' he added.
Former Barc director, A N Prasad, who has all along maintained that the thermonuclear test was anything but a success, said, ``The painful fallout of this episode is that the credibility of the nuclear scientific community and the respectable name of Barc is being damaged by a few at the top.''
In a direct attack on Kalam and Chidambaram, Prasad said: ``If all that Santhanam has written is true, then people occupying high places have misled the country. If all the data about the thermonuclear test has been held by one man (Chidambaram), then how can it be scientifically contested or debated? He has kept it under wraps.''
Stressing that there should be a probe by a committee constituted by the government, Prasad said that the team should comprise those having serious doubts about the yield of the test as well as experts who can include former nuclear scientists who have been raising their voices. ``It should not consist of only yes men. It should consist of those who are knowledgeable, who have the capacity to investigate such a serious matter,'' he said.
``If this committee concludes that the thermonuclear test had completely failed then the government has played a major fraud on the people of this country,'' he said. Asked if the AEC itself can investigate, he replied: ``It has credibility, but no expertise.''
Another former AEC chief, P K Iyengar said, ``The government should undertake an active investigation immediately following the statements made by Santhanam in the article. I am feeling really ashamed.''
Regarding a revelation in Santhanam's article that the thermonuclear device had not yet been weaponised like the fission devices, he said: ``How will they do it if they are doubtful about the yield? This itself is a clear indication that the test was not a complete success.''
Both Iyengar and Prasad said the disclosures by Santhanam, that there was no disturbance to the shafts at ground zero, was also proof that the test was unsuccessful.
The above report is clear evidence that it can be possible that the actual yielded result of the tests could be lower than 25 KT, throwing Indian scientists into complete confusion and had badly shattered their confidence too. It is bad luck for the Indians that the report about the dud tests came at a point when India was all set to teach Pakistan a lesson of the lifetime after 26/11 Mumbai attacks.
Amid all these circumstances the failure of Missile tests also aggravated the situation and made Indian Army think that in case of any serious confrontation between India and Pakistan, India would face unbelievable embarrassment if the Military would fail to hit the potential targets and loose the war heads too due to the crashing of Missiles in the middle of its approach or missing the targets completely.
NEW DELHI (AFP) — A supersonic cruise missile jointly developed by Russia and India failed to hit its target in a test previously reported as successful, Indian military scientists said Wednesday. The Defence Research and Development Organisation, which Tuesday claimed the test of the BrahMos missile had been a "total success," said the missile had flown only in the general direction of its target. "The missile performance was absolutely normal till the last phase, but it missed the target, though it maintained the direction," BrahMos project chief Sivathanu Pillai told the Press Trust of India.
The eight-metre (26-foot) missile weighs about three metric tonnes and can be launched from land, ships, submarines or aircraft, travelling at a speed of up to Mach 2.8. It has a range of 290 kilometres (180 miles) and is designed to carry a conventional warhead. The missile was fired from the Pokhran range in the western desert state of Rajasthan, bordering Pakistan, that was also the site of India's nuclear tests in 1998.The Times of India newspaper Wednesday suggested the failure was a result of an attempt to configure the missile to carry a nuclear warhead. Pillai did not comment on the newspaper's report but said his scientists were trying to debug the guidance system of a missile that had been tested 20 times in the past eight years."A new software used for this mission will be revalidated through extensive simulations and a flight trial will be carried out in a month's time to prove the augmented capabilities of the missile," he said.India and Russia -- its largest military supplier -- hope to mass produce the BrahMos for export. Nuclear-armed India, the largest arms buyer among emerging countries, has already begun arming its navy and army with the BrahMos as a tactical battlefield weapons system. The missile is named after India's Brahmaputra River and Russia's Moskva River.
The drama of Mumbai attack is now badly failed and proves to be an extreme embarrassment for the Indians. Poor Indians were completely convinced that the attacks were planned and executed through Pakistani intelligence agency the “ ISI” and “Lashkar e Toiba” a Kashmiri Militant group allegedly having ties with
To get complete picture of the situation I would want the readers to read the following reports carefully because every word of these reports stands important and would act as a clear proof that Indians have got themselves trapped in an ugly situation where they cannot claim that Mumbai attack was an outside job!!
I have purposely selected the Indian source here to validate the claim I would make over here.
Report No. 1 – Important Witness
http://news.rediff.com/special/2009/nov/18/she-saw-the-terrorists-two-days-before-2611.htm
Everyone seems to know Anamika Gupta at the bustling Leopold Cafe, now an even more famous landmark of Colaba in south Mumbai salaams from waiters, nods from the manager and even greetings from some of the regulars.
Are her repeated trips back to Leopold -- where she took three bullets on November 26 last year -- catharsis? She shrugs dispassionately, not agreeing nor disagreeing.
"Maut ko hum ne kareeb se dekha hain. Main zindagi guzaar rahi hoon. Kal kis ne dekha hai (I have seen death at close quarters. I am living my life. Who has seen tomorrow?)? I could have died. But I am here?! Life is bull s--t. There is finally nothing."
Anamika's take on life, since miraculously surviving 26/11, swings between the cheerfully brave, the dramatic and then the mildly morose. Life for her will never be the same again.
"I am a beautician. I have to be on my feet for eight hours or more. Now I can't sit for even six hours," she says.
She no longer works as a beautician and exists on a monthly income she receives from one of the 26/11 funds -- the 26/11 Mumbai Terror Attack Survivors Support and Rehabilitation Project sponsored by the Tatas.
Her injury, a massive and angry swathe across her stomach, her doctor says, will take another six months to heal. "I used to be beautiful. I was conscious of my figure. Now, that all is over. I am a beautician (she says again) so naturally I think beauty is important. Of course, beauty is in the heart too. But your figure is also important. When I see my body in the mirror I wonder who will marry me."
What upsets Anamika more, right now, is her recent interaction with the police. On November 5, 6 and 7, Anamika was called to the Mumbai police commissioner's office to re-record, she says, her original statement that she gave, wounded from her bed at the J J Hospital last year.
She was called to re-record her statement after an interview she granted the local Lemon television network, which aired November 2.
Anamika feels the police do not take her evidence seriously because they think she is seeking publicity. "They are saying I am after TRPs (Television Rating Points, which indicates how popular a television program is. I am surviving myself. Does the police commissioner have a bullet? I don't mind if they harass me, but they call up my brother, my mother and my sister-in-law and harass them."
She says she had given the exact same evidence to the police last year and they did not take cognizance of it. She says it was conveyed to her that much of her information was not needed.
Anamika said she told them, "I saw the terrorists who attacked Leopold Cafe two days before 26/11. It was
"On 26/11 I noticed them again sitting at a table in Leopold. I told my friend Sarika 'See there is that same chikna (good looker) we saw the other day. I clicked his snap on my cell phone pretending I was taking Sarika's picture. But my cell phone got lost. They were sitting at that table (she points to the table next to the door facing the main road) and having beer. Bullshit they did not drink!"
"I mistook them for Israelis. I thought they were some tourists roaming around because Mumbai is a nice place and it is a good season now. One of them was very handsome. The other was bald, with dirty lips and dirty, up-down teeth."
For Anamika spotting these men earlier is not in the least surprising. Though a bit chilling. "How is it possible that just 10 people did this attack? How did they know that there was a lane to the Taj next to Leopold? And that one could enter there?"
She firmly feels it is logical that they did a survey of the area from a few days before and that was how she spotted them in and around Colaba.
Being a witness at Leopold that night did not give the 26/11 investigators sufficient reason to bring her to court. She was not called to depose in the Kasab trial. "Do you know that the police does not even know where I got injured?"
Anamika is grappling with a series of difficulties. She received her compensation of Rs 150,000 from the government promptly and is working out how she can start her own beauty salon so she can have something to do with her time.
But it is the health troubles that niggled. The bullets were all removed but she lives with a succession of splinters inside her. "I have a sinus problem. Sometimes when I cough there is blood. My wound often pains. Mentally I am not prepared."
We are sitting just two tables away from the critical spot where Anamika was sitting at on November 26 (where she often comes back and sits for a meal). She tells you that the terrorist duo, after drinking beer in Leopold, split up after leaving the cafe. One stationed himself at the door looking out into the lane going up to the

Shortly after that she was shot and succeeded in agonizingly dragging herself first to the police station, where she was apparently given no help, and later to the popular, Tony Indigo restaurant where she awaited an ambulance, all the while conscious.
"The manager there was trying to help. But he was also worried about protecting his restaurant and was busy turning off the lights, shutting down the restaurant and said an ambulance would come. At 11.30 (a bystander who helped the victims) Felix Ambrose came and like a baby carrying a child he picked me up and carried me to a taxi and took me to the hospital."
"The doctor there -- a Dr Gupta -- was very good. It was a big miracle. Janata (the people) is beautiful in

Report No. 3 – Shocking denial from Ajmal Kasab
http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/Kasab-denies-all-charges/articleshow/5351020.cms
MUMBAI: In a dramatic twist to the 26/11 terror attacks case, main accused Mohammad Ajmal Kasab on Friday retracted from his earlier statement and claimed he was forcibly made to confess.
Denying all charges against him, Kasab said the statement was made under duress.
Kasab today claimed before a special court that he was arrested on the night of November 25 and that he was falsely implicated in the 26/11 case.
"On the night of November 25, I was roaming in Juhu. I had gone to see a movie when the local police arrested me," Kasab told the court.
He also told the court that he was arranging for a house in Mumbai.
"I had a passport and I'm not the first one to come from
The Pakistani gunman also said in court today he had met US-based Lashkar-e-Taiba operative David Coleman Headley in jail some time after the attacks.
The lone captured terrorist further said that on November 27, he was produced before a magistrate who then took his custody.
"I have not given any confession before the magistrate and my statement has been falsely implicated," Kasab added.
"I was not present at VT," said Mohammed Ajmal Amir Kasab, referring to Victoria Terminus, the former name of Mumbai's main railway station where he is accused of opening fire on November 26.
"I do not know what has happened. Witnesses have come and recognized me because my face looks similar to the terrorists," he told the judge at the special prison court in Mumbai where he is on trial.
Kasab claimed that "The police have killed the main accused who resembles me and they told me that his name was Abu Ali."
"I am his look alike. His height and face resembles mine," Kasab said.
"That is why I was picked up. I have been framed," he added, speaking in Hindi.
Kasab, who claimed that he was 20 years old, also denied that he was with Abu Ismail during the attack at CST (VT Station).
He rejected the evidence of a witness, Bharat Tamore, that he was seen with 10 terrorists at
Kasab said that "do baatein bolkar katham karna chaahtha hoon, aaj bhi mujhe bolne ka mauka nahin mila tho..." (I want to finish by saying two lines, if I don't get a chance to speak then...)
The judge cut him short and told him that he had to answer questions the court put to him.
Kasab disagreed with Tamore's version that he had seen the 10 terrorists at
Tamore had told the judge in his evidence that he saw two of the 10 terrorists closely and that Kasab was one of them.
Several questions were put to Kasab based on the evidences given by witnesses.
Asked about the dinghy, Kasab said that he did not know anything about the dingy. "I saw the dingy for the first time in the court," he said.
The case of the prosecution is that the terrorists had reached Mumbai via the dingy.
The lone surviving terrorist captured by the police during the Mumbai attacks was scheduled to give a statement today on evidence introduced against him by the prosecution for his alleged role in the 26/11 terror attacks.
Kasab had made three confessions after his arrest. One was admission of guilt before police soon after his arrest, the other confession was made before a magistrate which is admissible as evidence and the third one was in the trial court when the accused accepted his guilt partially.
Clearly Kasab has decided not to stick to any of these confessions when the court recorded his version today.
Summing up
Gathering the revelations of three reports rendered here, following points are extremely important to be noticed.
1. As Anamika stated that according to Report No. 1 above, she saw Ajmal before the Mumbai attacks. It means that if Ajmal was really the terrorist
2. Ajmal Kasab’s fresh statement gave a serious shock to the whole Indian nation. Ajmal stated that he was in Mumbai on a valid Passport and was looking for a residence in Juhu area and was caught upon resemblance to the real terrorist also validates the claim of Anamika that she saw Ajmal well before the attacks happened. But if the second possibility is analyzed that Anamika may had seen the real terrorists few days before Mumbai attacks then the Indian claim that the assassins came from sea side and started attacking the civilians becomes null and void.
3. Since last few months the case of American Citizen of
Conclusion
In the light of above shocking revelations, the whole Drama of Mumbai attacks lands with the clear notion that the real culprits and planners are definitely got connections on the Indian soil and the chain of involvement runs from Indian Consulate in Chicago to the higher authorities in India and in American CIA. The motives were clear behind those attacks which were definitely carried out to defame

Pakistani intelligence agencies like ISI should also seriously see this report as evidence that the recruitment of Indians and Bangladeshis (those Bengalis who carry hatred for Pakistan) is completely against our national security and there is a strong reason to believe that those recruited are being used to punish the people of Pakistan repeatedly through suicide bombings and explosions carried out all over Pakistan. Till now, no real culprit is nabbed and abductions till now are just a formality to shut the voice of the media who are pressurizing the government to act. The allegations on Tehreek e Taliban Pakistan to be involved in recent blasts and attacks of Military targets throughout the country are quite valid but the way these attacks are carried out show the expertise and professionalism every time they carryout such attacks. It also suggests that some very high tech Institution is behind these terrorists training them to combat one of the most professional army of the world “The Pakistan Army”
Observing closely the wave of terrorism in this region since the last two years we can witness some very shocking similarities and can also understand about the way these terrorists are executing their operations with extreme professionalism.
The professionalism is visible from the operations blamed on Lashkar e Taiba when we see the footage Mumbai attacks on 26/11. It is ironic that the only suspect alive is Ajmal Kassab and most amazingly he was the only person whose videos and snaps were available for the media moments after attack started! Amazingly the lone survivor believed to be a Pakistani National who understands Marathi language and the whole case proceedings are carried out in the local Marathi language. This is a separate issue though, but when we see the perfection of the handful of terrorist kept Mumbai on a standstill proves that how scientifically they were trained on modern lines and principles of warfare. Here I want to point out what I observed and want that to be concentrated on that during any further investigations on the issue. It is to be noted that the terrorists involved in those attacks were carrying bags which they wore on their backs keeping arms, explosives and snacks too!!
The next attack was carried out on Sri Lankan cricket team in
When we see similar terrorists acts afterwards we can also see same techniques used by the terrorists which proves that what they were trained, it came from a single institution which taught them how to carryout these attacks. More important is that the terrorists are taught modern communication tools to be used during their operation. The practice of carrying bags is an important similarity every time in their actions.
Most recently the valor security forces of

The deliberate ignorance of the growing vulnerability of Indian Nuclear Assets is showing the signs of extreme danger to the world’s peace.

Three people have been arrested with five kilos of uranium in Navi Mumbai on the outskirts of Mumbai.
Officials at the Department of Atomic Energy say the Navi Mumbai police sent them a sample of the uranium for testing. It has reportedly been identified as "useless" or depleted uranium; it cannot be used for making explosives.
More details are awaited; the Navi Mumbai police is expected to hold a presser on the arrests this afternoon.
In the above two events besides many other reported time and again, the statement of the authorities seems childish when they claim that the Uranium they recovered was useless or depleted.
It is for the knowledge of the readers and Indian Government in particular that the technology of recycling of depleted Uranium is available. The Recycled Uranium can be used for generation of power to preparation of Bombs too!!

It is quite clear with above visible realities that Indian security measures for its Nuclear installations can be compared with any textile mill or even more unimportant organization it terms of requirement of the security measures.
In present situation when India is almost 45% captured by Naxals/Maoists and their Nuclear Installations are virtually kept hostage in the Areas of Naxals/Maoists control, then no body can save the world from the catastrophe and the trauma which the irresponsibility of the Indian Government can give.
The world should understand that only on few occasions the Indian agencies managed to recover the stolen Uranium but one can ask that how many times before this had happened and how many times this Uranium ended up in the hands of terrorists now believed to be aiming some bigger action against USA which President Obama also believes that Al Qaeda and its subsidiary organizations are still a huge threat to
